Happy Birthday Valarie!

My darling niece celebrated her 17th birthday yesterday. Alicia & Brandon drew a birthday card each for her.

We had dinner at Fish & Co @ Tampines Mall. The kids had light dinner at home before the birthday celebration. But, Alicia still ate quite a fair bit. She said she likes the fish & 'orange rice'.

She was sabotaged by the staff to stand on a rattan chair whilst the rest sang her a birthday song. Jus nice, there was also another girl celebrating her birthday there. They both had to blow the candle/s off their cake from a distance. Quite nice of the staff there. We could do with more than the 10% discount given though!

Fell flat

Mummy me was preparing to bathe the kids in the afternoon. Alicia, Brandon & Caden were playing with each other. I saw Brandon jumping around when he suddenly lost his balance and fell flat on his left side of the face. It was so loud. My heart was thumping so fast cos I was afraid something bad might have happened. Quickly grabbed him up and check. Wahhhhhh!!!! He cried loudly. The whole left face was red. There was a baluku on his forehead and the cheek was rosy. Then, abit of blood came dripping from his nose. It was jus a teeny-weeny drop. Quickly showered them, put the other 2 to bed and brought him to see Uncle Ong.

"Hmmm... how did u jump? Still want to jump or not? Should I give u a big injection?" asked Dr Ong. He checked that he's alrite, other than a burst vessel in his nose and the baluku.

Aiyo... came home and still can anyhow jump n climb again. Kids never learn their lesson.

Wolf Morpher

There - this was what Brandon wanted for his birthday present. Power Rangers Wolf Morpher. He has been playing with it daily... adding on to his Power Rangers collection. We're jus short of the Ranger costume or suit? Will Daddy buy for him???

We also bought toys for Alicia & Caden, altho Mummy has been saying we should stop buying toys for them.

Quick dinner

As usual, brought the kids to J8 for dinner after Alicia's art class. We also brought Cheryl along as Ah Ma, Er-gu and Xiao-gu followed. Quick dinner & kiddy rides before heading home as Daddy wanted to watch his TV programme and Alicia was tired.

HortPark

Daddy suggested going to HortPark & Henderson Waves for a walk this morning. So, off we went!

We parked at HortPark and walked over the bridge. We were about 1km when Mummy asked to stop for a rest. Daddy laughed at me for having no stamina cos of lack of exercise. :p There was another family who stopped to rest after us. When I heard them saying they should detour back in case they don't have the energy to walk back, Mummy suggested the same to Daddy. Wahaha.... Who on earth came up with the idea of the super long bridge????

Alicia was very good... she walked all the way. Brandon asked to be carried on the way back. Daddy had wanted to bring a stroller along, but gung-ho Mummy said the kids can walk, so no need. Regretted... Caden wanted to be carried most of the journey!

We headed to MacDonald's @ Alexandra for breakfast. The kids love the environment. Too bad the playground was closed.

Weather Forecast

The initial plan was for us to go to Universal Studio on Saturday. Had planned for the kids to skip swimming class, but weather forecast showed that it would be thunderstorm, so Daddy decided against it. Brought the kids for their swimming class in the morning as usual.

The weather was perfect.... till late afternoon. Should we have gone ahead as planned? Well, Mummy me felt bad that we din bring the kids as promised. But, Daddy promised them we'll bring them next week. Hee... while the kids were having their nap, Daddy brought Mummy to Chan Brothers Fair @ Suntec to book a tour for both of us! Woohoo!!! Thank you Daddy... altho it came 3 years late, it's better late than never!

Superman!!!

Mummy bought a set of Superman pyjamas for Brandon & Caden each. Alicia complained that I din get a set for her. So, last Sun, when we saw the same set on sale, Daddy said, "Buy lor."

Look at how happy they were! Daddy even suggested that we both get a Superman tee each to match them!

Not so good

Alicia's art piece wasn't that great this week. She's fast now though. When I fetched her at 4pm, she's all ready to go again. Can guess which one is hers?

Happily eating M&Ms. She wanted to distribute to her frens in the art class cos someone gave her an easter chocolate last week. So, Mummy bought 2 fun packs.

Exercising

Daddy wanted to jog and the kids insisted on tagging along. So, we went to Serangoon Stadium on Sun. Jus one round and the kids were tired out! Mayb cos of the weather...

Brandon was so loving to Caden...

We went home for a shower before heading to Kovan for brunch. Kiddy rides again.

Birthday Presents

We brought the kids to Marina Square & Suntec City on Sat evening. Went to Toys R Us to get a birthday present for Brandon. Alicia & Caden got something too.

Brunch @ Plaza Singapura

It was drizzling on our way to the swimming complex on Saturday. Mummy asked the coach if the kids could swim and he said yes. So, allowed Alicia & Brandon to go ahead with their swim, but Caden could jus walk around with Daddy.

We headed to Plaza Singapura for brunch @ Swensen's. The kids were excited cos we found a few kiddy rides which were different from the usual ones they always sit.

Afternote: Brandon caught a cold n is hving running nose now!
