Huggies Baby Photo Contest

Mummy signed Brandon up for the Huggies Baby Photo Contest. Alicia's beyond 3 years, so can't participate. Each parent can only sign up 1 child, so if I submit for Brandon, can't do so for Caden.

Not feeling well

Brandon started coughing again yesterday - very mild. To play safe, he skipped school today, after taking his medicine. Better not fall sick cos there's an excursion to OmniTheatre tomorrow.

Down the bed

We would place Brandon into his cot or on the mattress after he falls asleep at nite. Occassionally, he'll wake up in the wee hours and insist on sleeping on our bed. This happened again 2 days ago, and alas... the most feared had to happen. We heard a "thump" halfway thru out sleep. Woke up only to find Brandon on the floor crying. Oops... he fell off the bed! Lucky, no 'baluku' or any injuries...

When I went to pick Alicia from school, she refused to leave to me. Kept on playing with her friends at the playground.

A Step up

Caden was trying to reach out to the toy on the ride-on and...

he stepped on the side of the walker and pushed himself up!

Oh dear, sooner or later, he'll just climb out of the walker!

Standing on his own

Milestone: Caden can stand on his own!

The proud little boy was so happy when we praised him.

Slightly more than 1 minute later, he tried to take his first step.

Too bad, he fell sideways the moment he moved his foot.

Guess Caden might just be able to break Alicia's record of walking at 11-months.

Mummy's on leave today! Daddy was particularly nice today. He helped out with the kids since morning. We went out for buffet lunch with Mummy's friends at The Paramount.

We dropped by TMC after lunch to visit Baby Ethan, who was born at 0137hrs. Hmmm... feels like having another baby. Hee...



Daddy went home to look after the kids cos it was mj time for mummy after that. Thank you, Daddy!

Better now

All my kids need is to breathe Uncle Ong's clinic air. And, this seems to be on a week-by-week basis!

Caden is much better - not so cranky, fever subsided and can drink milk & take porridge now.

Please be healthy, my 3 darlings. That's mummy's birthday wish. We'll be able to go swimming & shopping only when you are well.

Ulcer

Caden's fever went up again last nite, hence, we have to visit Dr Ong again today.  No wonder he's not drinking milk, there are 4 ulcers in his throat! Not sure how he got it, but Dr Ong said it could be due to him putting everything within reach into his mouth.  Pain pain... mummy heartache.

Teething?

Caden is running a mild fever today.  Both grandma said could be cos he's teething. Well, hope it's the case and he'll get well very soon.

Potty business

Brandon has been keeping to his daily rituals - doing his big business in the potty every morning. It's a good start, although there are occassional accidents in the afternoons when he poo in his diapers. Yes, he's still on diapers, as he refused to put on his underwear saying, "Later shee-shee come out how? I don't want the floor to be wet-wet..."

Alicia & Brandon skipped school again today.  They had outdoor fun at home instead.

No school

Decided to let Alicia & Brandon have a rest at home and fully recover before letting them attend school.

Viral Fever - pass it on?

All of a sudden, Alicia just felt feverish. Temperature - 39.4~! It came down quickly after a dose of paracetemol and neurofen.


Oh, this spreading of illness from A to B to C and vice-versa has to stop. God, please help!!!

Viral fever

Backdated: 13 Sep 2008, Sat

Brandon coughed the whole of Friday nite and had wheezing & fever and refused to eat & drink on Sat morning. Brought him to Dr Ong's clinic. He was so lethargic that even the nurses felt worried.  After a round of nebuliser and his favourite cheese pancake, he began his cheeky chats.

Damage: $197, mostly for the nebuliser medication!

Everyone's sick

Everyone's sick now. My ABC, Daddy, Mummy, 99, Da-yi, Small-yi and Cousin Valarie. Even our maid Sri is down with flu & cough!

Hope the bug goes away quickly...

It's another birthday celebration again yesterday - Ah Ma's birthday on Sep 11. Still remember that Mummy me was on Hong Kong when the terrorist attack happened few years back.

No matter how I woke Alicia & Brandon up this morning, they just remained motionless on the bed. They drank their milk with their eyes closed and continued sleeping... Maybe cos they're down with flu? Seeing how tired they were, Mummy decided to let them skip school. All 3 of us continued sleeping till 9.50am!

Oops, the runny nose is here again. And this time, it's catching up with Alicia. Mummy me brought her to Dr Ong, together with Caden who's taking his 6-mth jab.

For the 1st time, Caden didn't cry. Even Dr Ong was surprised! Hee...
