Compasspoint

Mummy drove Caden to Compasspoint today - a place we've not been to for a long long time. Mummy jus wanted to use up the Metro vouchers cos they have a sale on now.

As promised, Mummy brought u out again, Caden. How nice... u have Mummy all to yourself now that jie-jie & gor-gor are in full day childcare.

Self-Medicate

ABC are down with running nose. Mummy's self-medicating for them now and hopes that they'll recover very soon. Too much CNY goodies, especially for Alicia! She's been behaving like a little mouse - stealing food and hiding in a corner, enjoying them!

3 at one go

Caden has 3 teeth erupting at one go. O my... everything within reach goes into his mouth and he's just got too much saliva!!!

Family Day

Daddy brought the kids out - shopping, playing & visiting, cos he only starts work on Friday.

Happy Moo Moo Year!

Some random pix taken during CNY.

Reunion dinner at home...including tossing of the yu-sheng. Brought the kids to 99's place after dinner - to toss yu-sheng again.

Day 1 of CNY, dinner gathering at our place with Daddy's cousins, uncles & aunties.

They played basketball, the "Basketball Fire" style.

Our lovely children...

新年快乐

新年快乐无力!

Sorry, folks, but, that's what Brandon, my potato boy, said! We couldn't help laughing... When Mummy taught him the correct thing to say, he said, "U dunno wan lah!" Faintz...

Anyway, here's from the Tan Family:

新年快乐万事如意!

Teething again

Caden's teeth are erupting again - upper lateral incisor, both sides.

Holding the bottle

Caden can hold the milk bottle on his own, but he's very lazy to do so. He'll let go of his hand each time I try to get him to hold it himself. These days, I've stopped feeding him. He's now slowly getting a hang of it...

CNY Celebration in School

Alicia & Brandon celebrated CNY in school today. Mummy brought Caden along too for him to watch his siblings perform.

My kids in traditional costume. How beautiful...

Caden was mobbed by 2 pretty girls, Natasha and Nur Charmaine!!!

Brandon's fav - the lion dance! Alicia was the lion head, and he, the tail.

Dora Tan

... that's another name we've given Alicia, or what we would name our No. 4, if she's a girl (something which doesn't seem would happen in the near future).

Ahh...

Caden loves to open his mouth very big... especially when he's excited or happy.

Another Way of Playing Blocks

Instead of putting the blocks together to form the animal puzzle, Brandon stacked them high. It was not too long, before Caden pushed them down...

No. 4

NO WAY!!!

Brandon started calling his bear "My Baby". Look, he even put it into Caden's walker!

Hold and walk

Caden can hold onto the table or cupboard and walk... He loves crawling and walking on his own, more than having someone carry him at home now.

I like to see him playing peek-a-boo with me, by squatting down behind the table and standing up, saying "Da!" Too bad I can't get a good video of that as he'll start walking towards me whenever I have the camera on my hands.

Boyz will be boyz

Xiao-gu bought toy gun for Brandon. He was so excited and full of energy when playing with it. Boyz will be boyz... give them ball and gun, and they'll be more than satisfied.

Monkeys

Brought the kids to Peirce Reservoir after their afternoon nap on Sunday.

Eww.... saw so many monkeys on our way into the reservoir. The weather was very good, though. Shall bring a ball and bicycle next time.

Bought roti prata on our way home from Casuarina. Sinful, but the kids love them!

Vivo City

Da-yi came to fetch Brandon to 99's home after his afternoon nap. We brought Alicia & Caden to VivoCity, with Da-gu, for dinner & shopping! Caden was so happy - saying Hi to the people around him. Alicia was busy running about! Forgot to take photos lah!

Chinatown

We went gai-gai at Chinatown, after dinner at Maxwell market on Friday. 1st time for the kids...

1 more month

... and Caden would be 1 year old! Mummy's gonna be busy with the party preparation. Still thinking if we should hold one - you know, economic crisis lah...

Black Pepper Crab

Another birthday dinner... burp...

Mummy picked Alicia & Brandon after their school. Alicia was feeling feverish - if anyone noticed, one of my kids would fall sick each time I arrange to meet up with friends. Sigh...  Luckily, she was better after a dose of paracetemol and shower. Made Daddy come back earlier to jagar her since I'm going for dinner.

Nope.. it's not Kaelyn's birthday!

It's Aunty Constance.

Mountain Tortise

Da-yi has given Caden a nickname - mountain tortise, cos he seldom goes gai-gai. Unlike Alicia & Brandon who used to go out shopping almost every weekend, Caden stays at home most of the time. Sorry, but it's just so difficult to bring 3 kids out, unless there's help.

Mummy specially brought him to Tampines Mall shopping today. He was very happy when we were at Toys R Us. When he was pushed in the stroller, he made so much noise: "Deh-deh-deh-deh...." until so many people looked at us!

K, Mummy shall make an effort to bring you out once every week.

Happy Birthday Daddy

Backdated: Sunday, 11 Jan 2008

Yes... it's another birthday celebration. After having breakfast at the Serangoon Gardens Market & a haircut @ Simmon's place, we headed to MacDonald's for lunch. We celebrated Daddy's birthday in the evening when everyone was around.

Happy Birthday Amelia

Backdated: Saturday, 10 Jan 2008

Aunty Sherlene invited us to Amelia's 1-year old birthday party @ Black Canyon Cafe. It seems to be birthday party, after birthday party since the new year.

Check out the birthday girl - she has big beautiful eyes!!!

Who's the culprit?

Sent the kids to half day school today so that we can do some springcleaning. Look what we found! Scribbles on the wall behind the sofa! How smart of the kids to scribble at a place where no one would notice, till such a time, of course! Must ask who's the culprit...

Afternote: It's Alicia!!

Animal Kingdom

Free animal masks from Drypers, resulting in an Animal Kingdom at home. Caden's not in, else we would have an elephant too.

Missing Mummy

Mummy went to 99's home to play with Caden after dropping Alicia & Brandon in school. I left at 4+pm to fetch them home. As Caden was taking his afternoon nap, I didn't say goodbye to him.

99 called at 6+pm to say that Caden has been very cranky soon after he woke up. No one knows how to pacify him. It was only when 99 told him that Mummy went to buy something and would be back soon that he kept quiet. He then showed the "wait, wait" hand signal to 99. He missed me!!!

Aww... sorry, my darling.  Alicia jie-jie misses you too. She asked, "Mummy, where is my little brother?"  Mummy will pick you up tomorrow, ok?

I want my Daddy...

... said Brandon when Mummy fetched him from school yesterday. He remembered that Daddy would be away for a few days.

Before going to bed, it was Alicia's turn. She cried for Daddy. Mummy explained to them that Daddy is away on a business trip and would be back to sayang them on Saturday. They were very guai and slept after tossing for a while.

The funny thing is - they did not notice their brother missing! Mummy left Caden with 99 in the afternoon. None of them asked where he is!!! Alicia only realised it when she woke up this morning. Hmm... is this good or bad?

CNY song

Alicia & Brandon is learning CNY song in school now.

They sang for me on their way home from school...

They sang for me when playing on the swing...

Check out their singing!

Waving goodbye

Too much waving? Caden has been waving goodbye so often in the day, that his hand also waved while he was falling asleep last nite!

Daddy's away

Daddy's away for a meeting in Johor, Malaysia. The kids cried when I told them Daddy won't be home tonite. They hugged and kissed him goodbye this morning before he left.

Daddy, Mummy will miss you too!

Medicine required

Mummy ran out of medication for the kids. Hence, have to bring Caden to Dr Ong. And guess what? The medication prescribed are exactly what I have been giving him for the past 2 days!

Damage: $228 (stocked up medicine for Brandon too!)

Ready to go!
Was surprised he could sit on his own, playing the toy - but not for long.
