Weekend

We went J8 on Friday for grocery shopping and Alicia did not behave herself but made Daddy angry. Initially, we had planned to go to Universal Studios on Sat morning. However, the bad weather made us change plans. As a punishment, Daddy made Alicia stay at home to practise her writing. I thought it was for real. Cheh... say say only. We went to the bank and he picked her on our way to town for shopping.

Brandon & Caden enjoying their free biscottis and milo at the bank

We went to Marina Square & Raffles City. Er-gu met us there later.

On Sunday, it was Ah-gong's death anni. We prayed at home in the morning. In the afternoon, Daddy & Mummy went to Takashimaya for the Toy Fair while Alicia was having her art class and Brandon & Caden napping. Wow... so crowded, but very good deals. We bot the Toy Story intercom arm for Brandon altho Daddy promised it for his birthday. Mus mention this cheapo fake Barbie which we bought. It has 60 sets of change of clothes!!

In the evening, we went to Tampines One with 99 for dinner. The kids missed her so much that they kept kissing her and wanting her to carry, especially Brandon. She's going Genting with her friends today and would only be back on Wednesday. Hope she enjoys herself and win more $$!

Another bite

Ouch!!! Caden bit Brandon on the back when he couldn't snatch my iPhone from him!!! For that, Mummy made him face the wall for almost half an hour after apologising to gor-gor.

Art class

Alicia's art pieces for the last 2 classes: Chinese opera & chickens.

Spelling

From this term on, Alicia would be having her Chinese Spelling on Tuesdays and English on Thursdays. So far, for the past tests, she did very well. Daddy promised her a set of Barbie doll clothings if she can continue the good results for the next 2 weeks.

Standard Dinner on Wednesdays

The kids seemed to know that they'll be having dinner at Sushi Teh every Wednesday. On Tuesday nite, they were playing together before bedtime and I overheard them - Alicia: "What do you want to order?" "Hanasaki Ika Tempura", replied Caden. "Cha Soba", replied Brandon.
And of course, upon hearing this, Daddy made sure they went there for dinner on Wednesday!!

Crayola Magic Markers

Mummy received the free Crayola magic markers from Kimberly Clark for the Huggies Ultra promotion and the kids were happy to color on them! Tinkerbell & Cars.

ABC to Dr Ong

Sigh... all 3 kids caught a cold. Caden was running a fever and hence, Mummy decided to bring them to Dr Ong. After fetching Alicia & Brandon from school, we headed straight to Dr Ong's clinic. Daddy couldn't make it in time so Mummy drove them there myself.

Brandon was seen first. Dr Ong gave him the animal biscuit, but he refused to take it from him. Then he smiled shyly and told him, "I want the lollipop."
Next he saw Caden. He was a very good boy. It's been some time since he visited Dr Ong. He praised Caden saying, "Wow... you're a very good boy today. Din cry and cry already, rite?" I was amused that he could still remember that. For that, Caden got 2 lollipops. He passed 1 to Brandon.
Alicia - haaa.... he asked her, "Do you want lollipop too? 1 injection, 1 lollipop, ok? So if u have 2 injections, I'll give you 2 lollipops." Alicia was pouting all the way. Then, after checking her, he took out the syringe for consuming medicine and poked at her hand. "Nah... one injection. So, you'll get 1 lollipop." Is that how PDs behave??

Korean food

I din know my kids would like Korean food. We went to Centrepoint's Crystal Jade Ginseng Chicken restaurant on 11 Jul, Sun, for dinner. Yummy.... the food was great! However, when we were having our meal with Da-gu, Er-gu & Cousin Shermaine, we missed Cousin Denise - in helping with the bbq, and Xiao-gu - in helping to finish up the food! Next time...

Alicia & Brandon posing with the standees at Orchard Central. Caden jus refused to take any pix that day!

Enjoying their music classes

The kids are enjoying their music classes. They will request to listen to the CD each time they are in the car. Even Caden can sing Brandon's songs now. However, he is still very reserved in class. Hope this gets better and by the time he starts his pre-nursery next year, he'll be all ready for school!

As for Alicia, her class has yet to start. However, I've obtained permission to let her join Brandon's class for free for now!

Playing Play-doh

If I recall correctly, they played play-doh on 8 Jul, Thur, after their afternoon nap.

Lazy Blogger Mummy

This lazy blogger Mummy has been slack in updating the posts. Sorry folks! Knowing that we'll be away for a week from this Sat, I'd better quickly update the past posts before I forget them!

Updates coming right up!!!

Half-boiled egg

My kids love half-boiled eggs. Each time we go to the market for breakfast, they'll ask for it. Caden did so again this morning when Daddy & Mummy brought him there for breakfast. Can you tell???

SpongeBob playmat

The kids jus love the SpongeBob playmat gotten by Uncle Koeman!

Back to basics

Mummy made Alicia practise her writing of ABCs and 123 these 2 weeks. She's forgotten how to write 6, S & P!! Wrote them de-ba-lek! Aiyo... jus cos there's no much writing but all TV & play over the June holidays. Brandon was also made to practise his writing. He kept getting his N wrongly.

The Tanglin Tree

It was a holiday for the kids on Monday, in lieu of Youth Day. We brought them to The Tanglin Tree for dinner. The food was so-so only for the high price. Daddy found the playground too dated, i.e. very old. Er... yes, I find the place overly rated too. There was only ourselves plus another family of 3 having dinner there!

Brandon fell from the swing and hurt himself... Oops!
We walked over to Tanglin Mall to shop around before heading home.

Submarine

Alicia drew submarine on Sunday.

Donkey?

Dunno why, but Caden jus loves the horse aka Bullseye in Toy Story. However, he kept insisting it's a donkey. Mummy promised to buy him one and we did on Sunday.

I was looking high & low at Toys R Us but jus couldn't find the figurine. In the end, Caden somehow dug this out by himself from the shelf and showed it to Daddy happily. Only realised that it costs $30+ when I paid at the cashier! O well, am glad that he's so happy...

Brandon got the handphone that he's been wanting too. But, ended up Caden played more with it at home.

Father & Son

Father & son had their haircut on Saturday...

Baby

Alicia & Caden have been carrying a bag and a baby around the house lately. Alicia even tied the baby doll up such that it looked like a carrier!

Yummy-licious dinner

Right after Brandon's music class, Mummy me brought the 3 kids to Marina Square to meet up with Daddy. We had a yummy-licious dinner at Imperial Treasure. The kids kept saying the food was good and tasty. Seeing them enjoy the food so much made me very happy. Den, they played at the playground...

Caden kept asking Mummy to take photos for him.

Before we went home, we had Hokkaido ice-cream!!

Music in me

Alicia's music class has not started yet. The principal has kindly agreed to let Alicia sit in Brandon's class. She attended last Fri.
