Brandon's turning 5!!!

Time flies... My Brandon is turning 5 in a few days time. He's been waiting for the day to come ever since Alicia's birthday in early March. We celebrated his birthday in advance over the weekend.

After dinner on Saturday, we celebrated at home. Got a Swensen's ice-cream cake for him.

Dunno who's the birthday boy... Caden tried to squeeze into the pix too.

Round 2 of the celebration was at 99's house on Sunday. We bought a Bakerzin cake for him.

Happy Birthday, Brandon!!!

Bishan Park and McRitchie Reservoir

We wanted to cycle at Bishan Park on Saturday morning. But, were disappointed with the range of bikes offered for rental. Changed our minds and left for McRitchie Reservoir instead. Took a short stroll and left quickly to J8 for lunch as it started to drizzle. Shall try the bridge next time.

Afternoon at Swissotel The Stamford

Valarie jie-jie booked 2 nites' stay at the Swissotel The Stamford to celebrate her birthday with her friends. Mummy checked-in on Friday and brought the kids along to enjoy the facilities before she came in the evening. It was so great to nua in the room.

Daddy joined them... and Mummy too!! That's how big the tub was.

Busy Wednesdays

Wednesdays are busy as it is. Mummy will go for volunteer work at the primary school after sending the kids to school. Brandon has his phonics class in the afternoon and Alicia's in the evening. It's even more busy now... cos both Alicia & Caden have their music class in the afternoon too! Oh dear... hope we can cope with the schedule.

McDonald's at Bishan Park

We dropped by the newly opened McDonald's at Bishan Park after the kids' gym class. They didn't miss the chance to make Daddy get them an ice-cream cone!

New haircut

The kids went for a haircut last week.

Playgrounds

We've been bringing the kids around to the playgrounds near our place recently. Some photos taken...

Painting

The kids have been bugging me to let them play with poster colors. So, when the weather wasn't so hot the other day, I let them play at the backyard.

Airport T3

Cousin Denise jie-jie had the opportunity to go Beijing for one week as part of her school learning. We sent her off at the airport in the afternoon. Kids skipped their nap and got to have their afternoon tea at Earle Swensens and play at the playground.

Caden was very happy cos he could play at the Slide. It was his first try - as he's shorter than the minimum height requirement. There wasn't any staff there so Mummy took the 1st ride with him. He couldn't stop after that... Even Daddy, Mummy & Er-gu played.

Tutu skirt

Mummy let Alicia put on her tutu when we went gai-gai the other day. She removed it when she reached home. And the next thing I knew, Caden had put it on!!! He refused to remove it and even allowed me to take photos for him. Good thing it was only for those few minutes...

Time for Haircut

When I see the kids wake up from their nap with such a hairstyle, it tells me that it's time for a haircut. Wahaha!!! We laughed so much that day - chicken head!

East Coast Park

Mummy was deciding between bringing the kids to East Coast Park or Jacob Ballas Garden 2 weekends ago. Chose the beach cos kids wanted to cycle and play sandcastle. Who knows... when we were about to leave home after their afternoon nap, the sky turned dark. Very dark. We din bring the bicycles but brought the sandcastle toys along. Too bad... it started to drizzle when we reached.

After a short stroll, we headed for dinner at Long Beach restaurant. Popped over to New Zealand ice-cream for dessert after that.

Brandon was so excited to see the sea...

Alicia & Caden din dare to walk on the beach - afraid of the sand.

Xiao-gu quickly grabbed Brandon and played with water. Den they came back to me asking, "Did u bring extra clothes? He's wet!!" Luckily I did.

Xiao-gu grabbed Alicia too but she jus refused to put her feet down. That made Xiao-gu breathless from carrying her!! Brandon walking back to play with water on his own

Air-con please!!

We needed a cooling place.. hence, brought the kids to the airport T3 to have dinner and some play time...

Outdoor Fun!

Weather's so hot.. so Mummy jus let the kids sweat themselves out under the hot sun, before playing in the bath tub.

Fun @ Explorer Kid

Brandon has been pestering Mummy to bring him to Explorer Kid for some time. 2 Thursdays ago, Daddy suddenly said, "U wanna bring them to EK?" What can I say?? So, off we went!!

Have a pix, before the fun starts...

Caden, who used to be scared of the color ball pool, was daring enuf to go in and play with them this time.

They had the pool to themselves cos there's no one there!

Then, they had fun at the maze. Jie-jie and gor-gor were very good, making sure they took care of Caden while having fun themselves. Daddy joined them for a while and got tired out very soon..

They had a go at the pool again before we left.

We had waffle ice-cream at Gelare. Not enuf, the kids asked for more. Brought them to Coffee Bean for tiramisu cake while Daddy enjoys his coffee...
