Mighty Savers

Mummy opened a CDA account for Caden with OCBC. At the same time, opened a Mighty Savers account for all 3 kids - no deposit required. Got a token gift for each account opened. For every $20 savings, they'll also receive a token gift upon submitting the stickers card. Additional bigger gift items for $500 or $1000 deposits.

He's been to Hawaii

Haa, like real.... 99 bought Hawaii clothes from the market at $5 per set. Brandon's the first to put them on and oh my!!!

Just look at Brandon making faces again! You should have seen his matching shoes - the 'ling long clogs', also bought by 99 some time back for Alicia, which he dug out from the shoes cabinet. Made him so "gu niang"!!!

Even Caden can't help laughing at him, I guess.

The time is right

No wonder people say, "The time will come." After so long, Brandon is finally potty trained, and guess what? He's the one who initiated it. For the past one week, he's had no "accidents" at home, in school and going out. We'll have to train him for nites soon.

Beach

"Sunday's a sunny day, we're going to the beach, bring picnic basket,...."

Hmm... the song sounds great. The Tan Family went to the East Coast Park yesterday and the kids had a fun time! Caden refused to nap and knocked out only when we were on our way home.

Another fav spot

Caden loves to sit or stand near the window...

Back to school

Kids are back to school. Mummy popped by Mt E to visit baby Lucas, before picking Brandon up.

Mummy Astin gave birth to Baby Lucas on Children's Day!

Savings on Diapers

Brandon is almost successfully potty-trained! Hurray, as this means savings on diapers. For the past few days, he's been a good boy - peeing and even put-putting in the potty, except for one pee accident. But, I must say this is tiring for both him & mummy, as he pees very frequently!

Great job, boy! Way to go!!!

School holiday

School's closed today, so the kids (& mummy) slept till 9am. See what they did...

Lousy

Daddy played "What is this - making faces" with the kids again last nite. They were asked to sit side-by-side and see who made the wrong expressions. When they ended the game, we were amused by the words the kids use.

Brandon: "Daddy, you forgot the crying face!"
Mummy: "Oor, Daddy, why you forgot about the crying face?"
Brandon: "Lousy Daddy!"
Alicia: "Ben-ben (stupid) Daddy!"

Haa.... when did Brandon pick up the word 'lousy'?

Celebrating Children's Day

To celebrate Children's Day, Xiao-gu and Er-gu decided to bring Alicia & Brandon to the beach near Playground @ Big Splash, after their nap. Brandon didn't get to go in the end as he refused to nap. By the time they were about to go out, he felt sleepy. He ended up napping with Daddy & Mummy! Too bad...

Happy Children's Day

Nothing's better than celebrating Children's Day for kids, but guess our kids are still too young to understand that. Or maybe, they do know that it's a day for kids. Alicia was heard saying, "Today is Children's Day. We don't need to eat porridge. Mummy said we can have noodles for lunch today." :_:

Happy Children's Day, my children. Be Happy Always.

Happy 2nd Birthday Kaelyn
