Terror

My 2 kids are real terror. You can't just leave them alone for a minute.

Alicia skipped school today as advised by Dr Ong. When I was cooking porridge for Brandon and Alicia this morning, I heard a loud cry. Brandon bit Ally at her back as he could not snatch the puzzle pieces from her.

Look at the bite mark.

Again, in the afternoon, when I was getting drinks for them in the kitchen, Brandon came to crying. Ally pulled his hair!

Well, these are not uncommon sights. I'm just putting them on record and having the picture as evidence.

When Bran was sleeping in the afternoon, I asked my mother-in-law (MIL) to help look after Ally while I take my shower. After my shower, my MIL was laughing away. I couldn't understand what she was saying until I saw what had happened. Ally tore the carpet at her play area! So angry that I made her pull her ears and face the wall. Wait till daddy is back before she gets it from him.

Fever

Sigh... Brandon's fever shot up last night. Mummy and daddy were busy sponging and feeding him medicine in the middle of the night. He was much better in the morning. Cross fingers for tonight...

Enjoying the facilities

It's the first time we're enjoying the facilities after the TOP of our condo. We booked the tennis court for the "gu" (aunts) to play. The kids came along after their afternoon nap. Well, instead of picking up the tennis balls, they had fun at the playground.

Alicia proved that she's very agile. She has very strong muscles. However, she still has some fear in the challenges.

Brandon, as usual, is the "anything also can" boy. He was running and skipping and climbing...

Caden enjoyed himself too - I'm referring to the wind... as he slept throughout.

However, to end the fun, Brandon started running a fever in the evening. It's exactly 7-days after his MMR jab last Saturday, as warned by the doctor. Hope he'll be well for the night after the paracetemol and neurofen dose.

Nightly ritual

Alicia and Brandon has a nightly ritual with Daddy. They love to sit on daddy's tummy to "chi-kok-chi-kok", i.e. ride horse. Last night was no different. They even had an extra ride. See picture to understand what I'm talking about.

They sat on each side of daddy's lap for a ride!

Now, where should Caden sit when he's bigger? Haa.....

Visit to the doctor

Alicia skipped school today. Mummy brought her and Brandon to Dr Ong's clinic. Er Gu was nice to send us there as Daddy needs to work. Usually, it'll take us about 15 mins to reach TMC. Today, it took us almost 45 mins as there was a heavy traffic jam!

The clinic was very crowded . Lucky for us, we got the appointment no. instead of walk-in, as Brandon just had his jab last weekend. Aiyo, they went home with so many bottles of medicine.

Oh, btw, Caden has recovered!

Goo-goo-gar-gar

Altho down with a slight running nose, Caden's still playing. He's starting to make some "goo-goo-gar-gar" noises already. Way to go!

The flu bug

Jialat...  All three, ABC, down with flu.  So tiring for mummy and 99 (nai nai).  Hope they get well soon.

Brush teeth

Brandon has learnt to brush his own teeth!  Well, altho his teeth has not fully grown (6+6), mummy has been consciously cleaning his teeth daily.

And the naughty boy played with powder in gong-gong's room.  When I asked him to pose for a pix, he was more than willing.  See the "xiao hua mao".  Meow...

Sayang...

Caden loves it when Jiejie and Gorgor sayang him.

So sweet...

Running nose

Oh dear, Jie jie Alicia has running nose again.  My kids has no problem taking medicine now - in fact, they love it, somehow!  However, she has this tendency of digging her nose to clear the dirt.  Eeks!  So difficult to correct her.  Hope she gets well soon so that daddy can bring her for a swim this weekend.

A booster seat

Got a booster seat today. It's lightweight - hopes daddy doesn't mind and kids want to use it. Daddy hates the car seats as they are bulky. We've only used the baby car seat and the Mercz one so far; still have 2 new ones. Maybe, can consider selling off to friends to fetch some income. Ha ha... Any takers?

Caden

Always talk about Alicia and Brandon. Must at least mention Caden. Well, mummy cut his finger nails today. He could finally do away with his mittens.

Bishan Park

After a tiring shopping trip yesterday, the kids slept early last nite. The weather was good today and hence, daddy suggested a trip to Bishan Park.

Daddy missed the car park to Bishan Park I whilst talking to Er Gu Ling. So, we took the opportunity to go to Bishan Park II. We parked at Ang Moh Kio St 22, opposite the park. It was a long walk to the playground. But, it was worth it!

Look at how happy Alicia and Brandon were!

Cheeky boy...

Look at how strong Alicia is!

The Commando in the making

Today is vaccination day. Caden's due for his full month jab and Brandon, who missed the 15th and 18th month jabs, followed along.

We reached Dr Ong's clinic at TMC, SBCC at 9.30am. What a big crowd! Luckily we have an infant with us, else, waiting time is at least 2 hours!

Dr Ong instructed that daddy hold Brandon's hands and mummy hold one of his legs so that he could give him the jab. Brandon didn't even blink his eyes when the jab was given! This was history repeating itself, a reflection of his jab when he was 1 month old. "Wow! A commando in the making..." said Dr Ong.

It was the direct opposite when it was Caden's turn. He gave a loud cry. Ouch!!!

To celebrate Caden's full month, and to reward him for the jab, we went shopping in the afternoon.

Jie jie Alicia did not take her nap - hence, she was very "mang zang" towards the evening. Brandon entertained everyone during dinner with his cheeky smiles and moves.

Well, I look forward to a Commando in the TAN family. Way to go, Brandon!

It's Good Friday!

It's a public holiday and hence, no work for Daddy!!!

Alicia and Brandon followed Er Gu Ling and Xiao Gu Luang to Teacher Char Yong's home. They were so amazed with the fishes and tortise.
Daddy and mummy went to 9-9's place to fetch Baby Caden home.

After the kids's nap, they played at our home playground. What a wonderful day...

Ngg... I'm shy to take photos

Take me! Take me! I love to take photos!

Alicia's Birthday

And, not to forget... We celebrated Alicia's birthday a week before Caden's full month celebration.

Mummy's under confinement, and hence, Er Gu (Ling) has to be the "mummy" for her school party on 7 Mar, Fri. I ordered a Dora & Friends cake and prepared goodie bags for her friends. The shy birthday girl was so quite thru-out that it looked more like Er Gu's birthday.

I ordered a Minnie Mouse cake for her home celebration on 9 Mar, Sun. Haa.... it ended up more like di-di Brandon's birthday! He blew the candle and cut the cake!

Is the Minnie Mouse cake from Bengawan Solo sweet?

Brandon's hand reached out for the cake, before anyone could stop him!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ALICIA!!!

Caden's First Month

How time flies. Just few weeks ago, we welcomed Caden's arrival at TMC.

Over the weekend, we celebrated his full month. It was a busy and tiring day for everyone. Mum had to prepare the glutinous rice and red eggs, Hock was running about collecting the ang ku kueh, buying roast chicken and meat for prayers, baguette for the curry chicken, etc. Ling, Luang & Kiat also helped out. Thanks to them!

The guests were treated to a feast from Neo Garden. Kids walked away with balloons and/or coloring books. Goodie bags were given away too!

Ohh, now I look forward to the 1st year birthday celebration!

The first post

Daddy Hock & Mummy Ching have been married for more than 5 years. Our greatest achievement during this period is the arrival of our 3 darlings - Alicia, Brandon and Caden.

This blog is created to share with our friends the joy and laughter they bring us.

Hope Mummy will make the effort to update the blog often.

Happy reading!
