Jacob Ballas Children Garden

Daddy said he's tired out when weekend comes... of course lah! Mummy will think of places to go wherever weekend is here.

Today, we went to Jacob Ballas Children Garden @ Singapore Botanical Gardens. We didn't know exactly where the garden is, and walked a long way...

We passed by the swan lake and the kids were so excited to see the swans, tortoise, fish, shrimps, etc.

When we reached the garden, we realised where exactly it was - near NUS. So, Daddy walked back alone and drove to the car park at the garden's entrance. We continued playing till it closed at 7pm.

The kids playing with some of the interesting games at the garden.

The water fountain was last on the agenda so that they could change before going home.

Caden was also very excited. As usual, he power napped the on the way home...

The kids and daddy are so tired too. All 4 sleeping now... Good nite, my darlings.

Swinging good time

Outdoor fun in the morning for the siblings...

Friends of Singapore Zoo

Off we go... for an excursion again. This time, to the zoo!
Yeah! We're going gai-gai again!

Here we are!

See what the kids were doing while waiting for the tram

Alicia & Brandon on the tram ride.
We only managed to catch the Elephants of Asia show.

Weather was so hot... Mummy forgot to pack their sunglasses or hat. So, Brandon used mummy's sunglasses.

We stopped by the Rainforest Cafe for a snack break. So hot & thirsty!!!

Brandon touched the snakes!!! Yeeks!

Is that Hippo Tan?

And is that Elephant Tan?

Exercise?

Tot the kids could take a stroll and do some exercise last evening...

We went to Serangoon Stadium, together with Caden in his stroller. The moment we stepped into the stadium, Mummy noticed an uncle following behind us. When we were about to move onto the track, the uncle blowed the whistle at mummy. Non-joggers are not allowed onto the track, not to mention strollers!

So strict! Why? Cos someone complained lor! I remember reading a forum letter some time back. The writer complained that Serangoon Stadium is like a play area for children. Parents are seen pushing their kids in bicycle on the track and kids are allowed to play on the track. The writer finds that joggers, like himself, are disturbed by these children.

Too bad! Off we went to Nanyang JC's stadium. Alicia & Brandon kept saying they didn't want to go home so quickly...

Caden was initially very excited. Soon, he wanted to be carried.

As for Alicia & Brandon, they were so excited, as usual, that they started running about non-stop. Er-gu and mummy could not catch up with them. As they were naughty, climbing up the steps at the gallery, we decided to go home instead.

On our way to the car, Caden's head just seemed to drop lower and lower. He fell asleep!!!

What happened to the exercise? Sigh...

Gym playmat

This playmat has been with us since Alicia was born. A gift from one of Daddy's business friend. Finally able to make use of it again, after 2 years.

Caden loves it and is able to grab the toys.

No more constipation

Kiasu Mummy and Ah Ma... After the constipation incident yesterday, Alicia had banana, papaya & pumpkin just in one day!

Of course, there's no more put-put problem today. After "doing her business", Alicia said, "Mummy, I put-put already. No big big one today." : p

Cheese

Brandon has been playing with my handphone camera these few days. Take a look at some photos he took...

Alicia jie-jie will run away each time he asks her to "cheese..."

Caden di-di will, however, smile for his photo to be taken.

This shot was taken by Mummy, after taking back the handphone from him.

Constipation

Alicia & Brandon would put-put every morning before they go to school.

Today, Alicia had some difficulties, though. She asked Daddy to hold on to her hands when she was sitting on the toilet bowl. She was trying to push the put-put out but failed. Soon, she started crying. Mummy took over from daddy.

Alicia hugged mummy telling me that it was painful. Mummy kept "ng ng..." for her. We tried this for almost half an hour and she was crying and pushing at the same time. Sorry to say this, but mummy could see the put-put peeping out but it just got stuck halfway... It reached a point when Alicia said, "Mummy, don't see please..."

Finally, when it pooped out, daddy, mummy & Alicia herself were so relieved & happy. Daddy even pampered her with mini-marshmallows when it was so early in the morning.

How did this happen? Can't be cos she's heaty. She drinks lotsa water daily and they also take fruits in school. Will cook her sweet potato porridge tonite and buy a papaya.

Ready for school

Brandon's ready for school now. He'll automatically ask for his water bottle and goes into the classroom. By the time he reaches home about 1pm, he'll be very tired. So, nap time!

As for Caden, he was good today. When I sent the kids to school, he was still asleep. Woke up only when I was having breakfast. When I went to pick up Brandon in the afternoon, he was also having his nap. Good boy!

Bottle Tree Park

Daddy & mummy happened to watch Channel U in the afternoon and saw a food program recommending the restaurant in Bottle Tree Park. So, off we went there...

This is the park at Jalan Chenduru (Yishun), not the Bottle Tree Village at Sembawang which we went before. This place is much better as there's lotsa fun for the kids.

Alicia & Brandon took off their shoes and walked on the rocks in the fish pond. This is where longkang fishing is available at $10, inclusive of a mini fish tank, net and fish food.

Brandon can't wait to walk in the pond, even taking off his pants soon after.

Alicia, finally did so, after much persuasion.

There were a few places to pose or pictures and play, including a playground.

Not sure if the kids were so happy after playing, or they were jus plain hungry. Their appetites were so good, especially Brandon, who gobbled down 3 small bowls of rice.

Even Caden likes the place!

Daddy said we shall try Qian Hu the next time.

Yippee!!! Mummy passed!

To my dear children,

Mummy passed my driving test at the 1st attempt. Now, mummy can drive you go gai-gai already... : )

Thank you Daddy for your support (in terms of sending & fetching to & fro driving lessons, fees, and of course, the moral support!!)

Singapore Science Centre

This was supposed to be Friday's post, but mummy was too tired...

The kids went on an excursion with Er-gu and Xiao-gu to Singapore Science Centre. Daddy picked mummy up after my driving lesson to meet them up. But, instead of going in, we stayed at MacDonald's waiting for them.

Brandon, as usual, was very excited. When Alicia saw the dinosaur exhibits, she was scared out of her wits! According to the gu-gus, they practically touched every button or exhibit that are in there. By the time they came out, they were tired out. They fell asleep in their stroller when we went to IMM for dinner.

A good pose, although Alicia was scared.

They were so amazed with the musical instruments.

Brandon posed with Daddy the dinosaur exhibit outside the entrance.
