First words

Caden's called Daddy a few times. He'll say "ga-ggy". Today, he said "Da-ddy" very clearly.

Other words we've heard from him:

Jie-jie - cos Alicia loves playing with him

Er-gu - cos she brings him walk-walk at the garden often

Unbelievable? It's true... and they're not heard just by Mummy me.

Caden, when would I hear you call "mummy"? Why did all the 3 kids call Daddy first? Hmph!

Quality Time

Daddy works in the day and spends quality time with the kids at nite. One of Brandon's favourite game before going to bed, fight-fight.

It's Ah-ma's birthday this coming Sep 11. As Da-gu-zang is flying off back to Dubai on Sat nite, we had a pre-celebration for her @ Jumbo Seafood Restaurant, Serangoon Gardens Country Club.

Happy Teacher's Day

It's Teacher's Day celebration in school today. Mummy bought balloons for them.

Wall.E @ Vivo

Xiao-gu has free tickets to the movie Wall.E, so Mummy brought Alicia along. Not too bad, she could stay on throughout the show, altho showing signs of distraction towards the end when she heard cries from other kids. After the show, she had fun at the open playground.

Staying over at 99's place

Brandon has been staying over at 99's place since Monday. Dr Ong has advised that we should keep Brandon away from Caden to prevent him catching the virus again.

Daddy & Mummy missed him. However, this boy doesn't seem to want to come back home. He's so happy, being pampered by 99 and the 2 Ah-yi. Each day, they would give 99 $ for her to bring him over to Tampines Mall to sit car-car aka kiddy rides, or buy toys and snacks. There's no jie-jie or di-di to snatch toys or gather attention.

I spoke to him over the phone this morning and he asked," Mummy, where you go?"

Trying to tell me that I didn't go over and see him? Sorry my darling, Mummy won't be going over to see or fetch you for the next few days too. Daddy's just been told to go to Taiwan this afternoon for a few days. Be a good boy, ok?

Miss Entertainer

Alicia can be an entertainer when she grows up. Caden just loves being entertained by her.

Coughing again

Oh oh... my dear Caden has been coughing for the past few nites. He has to start the nebuliser again till Friday. When the nurse at Dr Ong's clinic sucked out his mucus, he screamed and struggled badly. 2 nurses and 1 mum. Towards the end, he just gave up. Poor thing. When done, he even scolded the nurse!

A toy above the head

Caden just loves having something above his head, be it a towel, a pillow or a toy. He'll be so excited that his hands and legs keep kicking.

It's Singapore Fireworks Festival over the weekend. Mummy me booked a harbourview room at Swissotel Stamford to catch the fireworks!

Not fully recovered

Caden's not fully recovered - still having few coughs & runny nose. Dr Ong said it'll take some time for a child of his age to recover fully. Maybe, another week to go.
