Gel for you?

We brought the kids to MacDonald's for breakfast before going for their monthly haircut.

Haircut in process
Alicia & Brandon's usual hair cut

My Caden is no longer afraid of cutting hair!! Yippee!!! He let Uncle Simmon carry him on the chair and when asked if he wants him to gel his hair after the cut, he replied, "Yes!" See my punky boy...

He kept saying after the hair-cut that he wants to go to 99's house to show her. When we reached home, he asked Ah Ma, Er-gu and Xiao-gu if he's handsome. So cute!!!

Manicure for ?

After a good afternoon nap, we went to Paragon & Taka. Had dinner @ Ding Tai Fung before our GSS shopping.
Caden at the Toys R Us booth @ B1 Paragon

Daddy bought Issey Miyake perfume. The sales girl was nice to offer Mummy an express mani. As I have my regular mani & pedi, I let Daddy do! So vain... The kids were all so curious.

Good swim

The kids had a good swim on Sat. The weather's so hot that the swim helped cool them down. After the swim, we went to Toa Payoh for lunch @ Ichiban and shop shop @ Kiddy Palace. Still searching for nice swimming costume for Brandon & Caden. Alicia got hers... can see?

Buono

It was a PH on Fri - Vesak Day. We had planned to go Orchard for dinner, but were too lazy to go out after the kids' nap. So, ended up at Buono @ Lichfield Road. The kids love the mushroom soup with garlic bread and the Portobello appetiser but din really enjoy the pasta & pizza.

Eat With Your Family Day

It was Eat With Your Family Day on Thur. Daddy came back from work earlier and brought us out for dinner. We had initially planned to go Orchard for dinner but changed our plan cos we had to attend a wake that nite. So, brought the kids to Swensen's @ J8 again... They're more than happy cos they get to play their kiddy rides.

Hot! Hot! Hot!!!

The weather's so hot lately that Mummy have been bathing the kids at least 3 times a day. I've also been indulging them in cold stuff - cold honey water, apple juice, mini-cornettos, mini Meiji ice-cream, Frolick yoghurt, waffle ice-cream, etc.! That's the best way to cool down...

Revenge?

We found out how Brandon got the blue-black on his face. Caden threw a yo-yo at Brandon's face. Brandon was very nice. He told Daddy, "Caden is still small. He doesn't know that the yo-yo is a toy and can't be used to throw at people's face." So sweet of him.
But, when this happened on Wed, I was wondering if this is called - revenge. Brandon stuck his leg out while Caden was running about and made him fall. He knocked himself against Alicia's chair and got a bruise on his chin.

Happy Birthday Da-yi

We celebrated Da-yi's birthday a day in advance on Tue. Valarie jie-jie designed her own cake for her Mummy - nice! Happy Birthday Da-yi!!!

Zoo, here we come again

Daddy & Mummy were deciding between bringing the kids to Universal Studios or the Singapore Zoo on Sunday. Decided on the zoo cos it's been some time since we went there, and also cos Xiao-gu got the free passes for us this weekend. So, off we went!!
We bought breakfast from Serangoon Gardens Market and had it at the entrance of the zoo.
Instead of the motorised scooter, Daddy decided to rent the wagon for the kids. It's more practical cos there's so many of us.

We caught all 3 shows

They had so much fun at the Kidzworld... good to soak!

Daddy was so funny. He brought Brandon to sit and wait for the pail of water to come down. And when it did, he lost his glasses! Brandon had to help him dig into the water, and luckily managed to find it!

Feels so shiok after a good shower

Brandon wanted to take a photo with the parrots...

Before we left, we indulged in Ben & Jerry's Banana Split. Great for the hot weather!!

The surprising thing is - they din fall asleep in the car. They kept singing all the way home!

Happy Birthday Shermaine

We celebrared Cousin Shermaine's birthday on Saturday evening at Aston's Suntec. O... she's no longer considered a child from now.

Navy Open House 2010

Finally, the Navy Open House... We missed the Army Open House last year cos we were in HK. So, altho it was drizzling this year, we still went ahead on Saturday morning, esp so when the kids do not hv their swimming class this week.

Luckily, Mummy brought raincoats for the kids.

Posing with the various uniforms, tents, etc.

The display, the submarine, etc.

We got on board the Interprid (not sure if I got it wrong) and toured the craft.

Alicia & Brandon got to play with the remote control boat. Caden could only see from the side..

They loved this boat ride. Too bad Caden is too small to play.

The bouncing castle... Caden din dare to jump inside. He jus kept jumping outside alone.

The kids refused to leave... they kept wanting to play at the Family & Fun sector.
A final photo before we left...

Dunno how it came about

Mummy saw that Brandon has a small black mark on his face and tot that it was something dirty. When I looked closer, I realised that it was a baluku! Asked him how he got it, and he din even know! Quickly rubbed huiridoid for him and he kept complaining it was painful. Aiyo... this boy... not handsome le lah!

Weekly Wed routine

Our weekly Wed routine has been Brandon going for afternoon phonics class, buying kuehs from Bengawan Solo after the class, Alicia going for evening phonics class and us having dinner at Sushi Tei. This week was no different. Jus that now, a new Wed weekly routine would be Caden going for music class in the morning. Everything packed into a day.
Brandon is going to advance into Intermediate programme next term. Hope he can manage.

3rd Music Lesson

Caden attended his 3rd music lesson on Wed. He's still afraid and refuses to sing along during the class. But when we were home, he could tell me his teacher's name and another boy's name. He asked me to sing along with him the songs that we learnt and he could hum and do the actions. Seems like there's indeed some improvements. Hope to see him participate actively soon and this is help when he attends pre-nursery next year.
As we din manage to get any gifts for the kids from abroad, Daddy bought them to shop for toys that evening. They each chose a toy, except for Alicia. She was smart... she knew Daddy was in the mood to buy things for them, and asked for a swimming costume when she saw a Barbie one. Of course, she got what she wanted...

Away for few days

Daddy & Mummy went for a short holiday for 5 days. It's the 1st time that Daddy & Mummy were away together after we had the kids. Caden was left at 99's place and Alicia & Brandon were looked after by Ah Ma and Xiao-gu.

Before we left, Alicia & Brandon were so happy. They said, "Yeah!!! No one will scold us for a few days... But for a few days only, cos when Er-gu comes home, she'll scold us too." (cos she's away in Japan) Not sure if this is really how they felt or it's cos Mummy psycho-ed them so.

When Mummy called home on the 2nd day, Brandon was quick to tell us that Alicia cried before she slept on the 1st nite cos she missed us. When asked if he missed us, his reply was, "Hmm... I think I miss you lah!"

As for Caden, he refused to talk to us over the phone. Angry with me??? Even after we came back, he refused to let me carry him. Only allowed Daddy to do so. It was almost half an hour later when I kept "begging" him that he allowed me to carry and hug him. When I asked if he was angry with me for not coming to see him for so many days, he nodded his head. Awww...

Mothers' Day

We celebrated Mother's Day on Saturday at the restaurant at Jln Selaseh. Food was nice... but Mummy me was pissed with the service and hygiene. The kids also did some craft in school.
Brandon's work (I can't rotate)
Alicia's work - she wrote the words on her own and said that the 3 chicks are my children. When did I become a mother hen?? : )

Caden's 2nd music lesson

Caden went to attend his 2nd music lesson this morning. He's still very nervous, but at least, he's loosen up abit. Hope to see improvements next week.

This cheeky boy on our way home...

Weather's too hot!

The weather's too hot these days. So, Mummy me brought the 3 kids to the club to swim yesterday. That also meant no pics... only managed to take pix when they were playing at the toy section.
