Hokkien

Alicia's hokkien has improved alot under the guidance of Ah Ma. She can now understand and can answer simple words of Hokkien when Ah Ma talks to her.

Brandon, however, can only say words like "mai", as in "don't want".

The problem of not speaking Mandarin and Hokkien often is - instead of Singlish, they are not speaking "Chi-kien", dats what Daddy calls - a mixture of Chinese and Hokkien.

So, how to correct them? Tough - cos Mummy is not good in Mandarin nor Hokkien.
