Nightmare

It was a nightmare for Mummy on Thursday afternoon. After waking up from his afternoon nap, Caden lost his voice and was gasping for breath. Quickly brought him to Dr Ong. On the way to the car, he vomitted. Lucky, got to change. However, he threw up on the way there again.
As the clinic was closed, requested to go into clinic to change. There were already a few patients waiting outside the clinic. After changing, I saw Dr Ong in his room. Asked the nurse if Dr Ong can see Caden first. The nurses heard him breathing very heavily and quickly gave him a dose of nebuliser. We were not required to take a queue no. as Dr Ong saw him first. Heard the nurses tell the other patients - emergency case. He was admitted into hospital.
Diagnosis - Acute Laryngotracheobronchitis: (viral croup) is the most common infectious cause of acute upper airway obstruction in pediatrics, causing 90% of cases. The disease is usually benign and self-limited. Children in the 1-2-year-old age group are most commonly affected.
He's discharged on Saturday and is much better now. Review is on Tuesday. Mummy is super tired...

Damage: $191 at Dr Ong and $2158 at TMC.

After being given a jab which could help him breath, he had to have an oxygen tube beside him.

He had something attached onto his toe to measure the oxygen level.

Feeling much better on the 2nd day - sitted on the high chair, having porridge.
