Drawing Animals

Brandon was in the mood of drawing animals after watching Playhouse Disney's Art Time. The girl drew a cat. So, he quickly grabbed his drawing block and drew a cat too. Then, he drew a fish in a tank. He explained that the circle circle were fish food. Naturally, Mummy took photos rite?

Guess what? Caden went to get another drawing block and asked me to take photo for him too. He said he drew an elephant. When I asked him where it was, he said, "There...." and insisted that I take photo for him! Elephant so skinny line ah? Faintz...

Vivocity

Sunday - Had dinner at Sushi Teh @ Vivocity. Den, kids played at the outdoor playground. Not many photos cos Mummy forgot to bring camera.

Art - Flamingo

Sunday - Daddy & Mummy had afternoon tea at Canele Cafe @ Paragon after visiting a fren at Mt E. Crepe, soup & coffee & tea tastes yummy. Daddy loved the chair too! Den, bought a oreo cupcake from BreadTalk before we went to fetch Alicia from her art class. She drew Flamingoes. Again, her last week's painting was displayed on the wall for all to view. She was very happy.

Cycling adventure

Sunday - Brought the kids to Bishan Park in the morning to cycle. Mummy brought along their new bicycle and motorcycle, and also the sandcastle toys. Who knows... the playground was closed as part of upgrading. But, the kids still enjoyed themselves.

Had breakfast at Ya Kun Toast @ J8 after that. Wah... the kids had 2 soft-boiled eggs each, in addition to the toast!!! They insisted on kiddy rides before heading home.

Swimming - new development

Saturday - Mummy has always wondered when Alicia & Brandon would be able to swim on their own. For the past weeks, they've only been taught how to kick their legs (frog style) and blow bubbles. Jus last weekend, they've finally started to learn how to use their hands. At last some improvements/new developments. : )

Caden followed and kept asking me to let him swim. As he was having runny nose, Mummy refused. So, he self-entertained himself by playing with the water bottles. Notice his new crocs?

Hena

If u watch the 7pm Korean Drama on Channel U, you would know who I'm referring to. I was out for dinner with frens few weeks back and received a MMS from Er-gu. I couldn't help but burst out laughing.

Crocs Expo Sale

Mummy me managed to get access to the Crocs Expo private sale on Friday, so went with Xiao-gu. Everyone prepared me to queue for very long. However, we reached there about 9am and could settle everything within 1.5hrs. Mummy bought 2-3 pairs of shoes for the kids and 2 pairs each for Daddy & myself. Also grabbed lotsa jibbitz. : )

Animal Sandart

I told the kids they can do art & craft today. Alicia & Brandon wanted to do sandart. So, we did this outside the house. Brandon was so hot till his cheeks turned rosy! Check out his colorful rhino, colors chosen by him. Alicia's tiger turned out funny too - so odd colors.

Power Rangers Jungle Fury

Mummy has always been the one buying clothes, toys, books, etc. for the kids. In fact, my shopping habit revolves around the kids department now. Daddy, knowing the kids like to watch Power Rangers Jungle Fury (in fact, he too likes to watch!!!), bought DVDs for them. Mummy started with DVD 1 and 2. Then, week after week, Daddy will go to the DVD shop and buy them whenever the new DVDs are released. Last nite, he finally bought the last 2 DVDs. Is this how we pamper our kids nowadays??

Frolick Yoghurt

Brandon was naughty last evening and Mummy left him at home, after telling him off. So, Daddy & mummy had private time to ourselves at Sushi Teh for dinner after dropping Alicia for her Phonics class. When we picked her after our dinner, she asked, "Mummy, are we going to Sushi Teh now?" Hee.... sorry girl, we already did.

For being a good girl, Mummy gave her a Frolick lychee-flavoured yoghurt with oreo toppings. When I asked them for a longan topping (cos Alicia has always loved longans), she was quick to say, "But I jus had longans last week!" Ya... she jus had the yoghurt with longans topping on Saturday.

Coloring Well

Not only has Brandon improved his drawings, he's also very good in coloring now. Look at his works from his Phonics class. Well done, my boy!

Dinner @ J8

Yes... we ended up at Bishan J8 for dinner again on Sun. The intial plan was to go for Teochew porridge at Upp Serangoon area. Well, the kids would be happiest, cos they get to play on the kiddy rides!

At Crystal Jade. We waited for almost 30mins. Gotta get a cupcake for the kids to share in case they were hungry.

Brandon wore Spiderman tee & crocs. When sitting on the Spiderman kiddy ride, he said he's "Super Hero Brandon"! Faintz...

Pot of flowers

This week's theme for art - flowers in a vase. Daddy & Er-gu commented that Alicia's painting was very nice as it seemed to have some shading. She was so happy... : ) O... and, her last week's snail painting was displayed on the board for all to see. Even more happier...

Dinner cum play

It rained on Sat morning, so the kids din go for their swim. In the evening, Daddy suggested going Raffles City for dinner & shopping. We ended up at Shokudo. The kids quickly finished their dinner cos they wanted to play at the mini playground. We had "water-therapy" at the fountain @ Marketplace and Caden loves it.

Finger-coloring

Alicia & Brandon were in the mood to do finger painting. Instead of the usual, Mummy sketched a picture for them to finger-color. Turned out quite nice...

School Holidays

It's term break this week, and the kids get to enjoy their school holidays! What have we been busy with?

Tuesday - Brought the kids to 99's place. Brought them to Tampines Mall to shop & play in the morning. Then, to the library in the afternoon, after their nap.

The kids saw this at Popular and asked me to buy - Finger-painting. Can tell which is Brandon's work and which is Alicia's? Very nice... I love them. Caden's work was messed up and he tore the paper away. :<

Wednesday - Mummy me brought Alicia & Caden to OG Orchard Point with Da-gu & Cousins Denise & Shermaine. It's a private sale for members and Mummy kept going, "OMG!!!" cos the queue to get into the carpark and the shopping complex was so long!!! We queued more than an hour to make payment! Got out of there quickly and had lunch at Orchard Central before heading for a quick shopping at Takashimaya.

Brandon stayed over at 99's place - he's been waiting for the school hols! He brought 99 to Tampines Mall and played at Toys R Us & the arcade. 99 said each toy he chose, he'll ask for another one for jie-jie. So good meh???

Thursday - Mummy me brought the kids to Laguna Club for a swim in the morning. After a quick swim, they played at the outdoor and indoor playground. No photos in the pool cos it's only 1 gung-ho Mummy with 3 kids.

Friday - after a long week, Brandon fell sick. Brought him to Dr Ong's new clinic at Mt A in the morning. Cough, running nose and loose stools. Gotta neb again. It's been a long time... Get well soon, my son.

Recently, Brandon loves to draw. Mummy checked with Alicia's art teacher if he could join in his class. He said he's too young, but is willing to let him give it a try. Shall let him sit thru 1 session before deciding if I should register him this Sun.

Pet Dog

A pet dog for the family? No way!!! Jus on Sunday afternoon, Brandon said to Mummy me.

B: Mummy, I'm a good boy. I can help take care of Caden now. Can you buy for me a pet? I want a pet dog.
M: Orr.... (ignoring his request, of course)

In the evening, while the kids & Mummy were watching cartoon in the living room, Mummy me noticed something moving past the sofa. I ignored it, assuming it was a ball rolling past. In the next minute, I screamed. "Dog!!!" A schnauzer appeared rite in front of our eyes. Caden was sitting next to me. Brandon who was in front of me jumped up onto the sofa and hid behind me. Alicia tripped while trying to run away from the dog. She was screaming and crying badly. I quickly carried her. That dog still dared to come near me and stood up to sniff me! It mus have wiggled his way into our house from the gate. Can u imagine how small it mus be to be able to squeeze in thru the squares?

Xiao-gu who was watching TV at the dining area, quickly opened the gate guiding it to go out. If refused to, continuing to come closer to the kids n me. We were scared stiff! She hurriedly carried it out. We've never seen the dog before. Worried that it may get knocked down by passing vehicles, we tried to ring the doorbell next door. Indeed, it belonged to the newly moved in ang-moh family.

After pacifying Alicia, I asked the children why they were so scared of the dog. They've always been friendly to dogs walking past us, especially Caden. Alicia replied that she was "shocked". While Brandon jus smiled... how to have a pet dog like that?

After xiao-gu narrated the story to the family when they came back, their response: Mummy me was the most afraid. My screams mus have scared the children off! : p

Haircut

Caden had his haircut again. This time round, he's a good boy, sitting on his own. A nice haircut!

Of course, Brandon had his usual haircut too. He even got Uncle Simmon to teach him how to style his hair! So vain...

Alicia din even want to follow us to the salon. She's afraid that we'll make her cut her hair.

Birthday presents

Saturday - After the kids' swim, we went to Plaza Singapura for brunch at Swensens. Alicia so-called celebrated her birthday again cos she got a free firehouse and Brandon got a free sundae. In addition, the staff gave them a party pack each, plus the usual coloring sets. Daddy was so pai-seh that he gave the service staff tips!

Then, we went to Carrefour to get a bicycle for Alicia - a birthday gift from Da-yi. Shall take a pix on another day. Next, it was off to Tampines to fetch Caden & 99 to TM Toys R Us! Bot a mini motorcycle for Brandon & Caden - a birthday gift from Da-yi too!! Thank you, Da-yi!

No more interest?

Alicia & Brandon went for their swimming lesson on Saturday. Dunno if the interest is dying off, or he's jus playful, Brandon seems more interested in playing with the water then practising his kicks. Daddy said to jus let him be... : p

Alicia complains that her pyjamas are too fitting for her. Hence, Mummy me bought 2 new sets for her - a Pooh bear & a Princess. She loves them...
