Teachers' Visit

Alicia & Brandon's teachers visited us yesterday afternoon. When the teachers initially asked Mummy me about it, I nearly freaked out. Tot my kids did something wrong. Den, undertand from them that this is a common practice. In fact, they've visited almost all kids' home. The purpose is to find out the environment of the place that they stay at, to allow the parents n teachers to talk about the kids, etc.

Feedback on Alicia - adapted very well to the new school. Very helpful girl. Pays attention in class and could respond very well to teachers. Can read and write well - both English & Mandarin.

She was so happy to hear these comments and while I mentioned to the teachers that she's taking art classes, she eagerly took out her Art Folder to show them her paintings. The teachers were all praises for her and requested her to do a Show & Tell next term.

Feedback on Brandon - was very quiet during the 1st 2 weeks in school. Now, talks a lot to his group of friends (they r grouped into 3 groups in the class). Sometimes, doesn't pay attention but turn back and plays with them while teacher's teaching. Responds to teachers well.

When he saw jie-jie took out her Art Folder and was praised by the teachers, he took out the Doodle board and drew a picture of a boy. The teacher also praised him and commented that his drawing is very well done for a boy of his age. He was so happy... : )

Mummy's very happy that they are doing well in school. Well done, my children. Keep up the good work.
