Xiao Hua Mao

On a hot Tuesday afternoon, what could we be doing? Check out the xiao-hua-mao... Brandon kept laughing at Caden saying that he's a clown with lipstick.

You're rite! Mini-cornetto!

Cows

Alicia drew cows for her art class on Sunday.

Mummy: Who are these, Alicia?
Alicia: Alicia & Brandon. Mummy pushing Caden in the stroller.
Mummy: Where are we?
Alicia: Malaysia lor. (Assume no cows in Singapore)
Mummy: Where's Daddy?
Alicia: It is school holiday now. Daddy is working.
Da-gu: If Daddy is working, then how do you go Malaysia?
Alicia: Mummy drive lah! No... we take aeroplane there!
How creative... Can't imagine she could draw Caden in the stroller... : )

Whose genes?

Mummy was with Brandon & Caden @ Paragon on Sunday. When I was redeeming car park coupon at the Citibank concierge, Brandon looked at me and smiled. Then, he pointed to an ang-moh girl. I tot nothing of it.

As we walked along to meet up with Daddy & Alicia, the girl was ahead of us with her siblings n parents. She turned around and faced us. Brandon suddenly waved at her and sent her flying kisses!! I found it so amusing. Then, Caden smiled at me and said, "Mummy, that girl smile at me leh!" I was totally speechless.

My boys!!! Daddy, whose genes do they have???

Before School Re-opens

Thur: Alicia had quite a fair bit of eye discharge for 2 days. Hence, brought her to Dr Ong for a check in the morning - an infection which could be caused by her blocked nose. Mummy also stocked up the kids' medication cos going away in July.

Her eyes are so small that you can't even see what's wrong with her eyes!!!

Rushed out Brandon's holiday project in the afternoon. Daddy brought us to J8 for dinner before we headed to Bishan Library in the evening. Still needed 2 more Chinese books for Alicia's holiday reading project.
A new kiddy ride @ J8

Fri: We completed Alicia's Chinese & English projects. Mummy jus realised that no photos were taken! Then, Alicia & Brandon went for a plasticine modelling class in the afternoon at the CC. 1.5hrs of fun for them.

Sat: Now, it's Brandon's turn. Mummy brought him to c Dr Ong cos of some itch - no details given. :p Daddy brought Alicia & Caden for breakfast & banking.

The whole family went for the music school's opening ceremony in the afternoon. Daddy & Mummy sent Brandon & Caden to 99's place for a stay cos we had complimentary tickets for the S'pore World Cup Festival @ Sentosa.

Sun: After fetching Brandon & Caden from 99's place, we rushed to Takashimaya to catch Toy Story's Meet & Greet. Too bad they din hv the 1pm show on that day. We only managed to catch a glimpse of the characters who jus had their session with the Little Ones Club. Ended up getting the Toy Story storage box & a water bottle for Caden.

Toy Story 3

As promised, Mummy brought them to watch Toy Story 3. Mummy decided to watch the normal version instead of the 3D cos was afraid it would be too straining for their eyes. They enjoyed the movie very much, and of course, with the popcorn!
Caden cried before we left home, wanting to follow. So, we got him the Toy Story cup & figurine when we got home. He was very happy!!

Downtown East

Mummy brought Alicia & Brandon to Downtown East on Tuesday, intending to bring them to watch Toy Story 3. Too bad, the timing wasn't rite. So, change of plans - let them play at Explorer Kid & caught Astro Boy's Meet & Greet session instead. We also had waffle ice-cream @ Gelare before we headed back to 99's place to fetch Caden home. Sorry, din bring Caden along cos Mummy me can't manage 3 kids. He won't b able to watch the movie quietly too.
They jus love the ball pool!

They even jumped into the toddler pool!

So tired from running & climbing at the maze zone. Am glad that Alicia could look after Brandon, helping him and waiting for him. Good jie-jie!

Playing at the merry-go-round & toot-toot-train at the Event Square while waiting for Astro Boy

Outdoor Play

It's been some time since the kids played outdoor cos of the weather - either too hot or raining. With the nice weather on Monday morning, Mummy let them play outdoor. Of all times, Cousin Cheryl has to put-put at that moment. So, she din get to play outdoor with them...

Happy Father's Day

We celebrated Father's Day simply @ Sushi Tei. As what Alicia has said, "Daddy is the Best. Dun tell Mummy." We love you, Daddy!!!

Power Rangers @ BPP

Yes... we went all the way to Bukit Panjang Plaza on Sunday morning cos they have the Power Rangers Meet & Greet session there! We quickly spent $ for our lunch so that we could redeem the Photo Pass for the 1pm show. And talking about that... we had one of our worst lunch @ Streets Hong Kong Cafe. Food sucks that even the kids complained!
Initial plan was to jus go for the Meet & Greet and rush jie-jie for her art class @ 2pm. When we saw that there's a tea party @ 3pm, Daddy said Alicia can skip her lesson! So, we spent again in order to redeem the pass for the Tea Party. So sad they only allowed us to redeem 2 passes cos 1 pass per shopper. Caden had to give the tea party a miss. Mummy's so gonna write in to complain cos even their photo pass allowed up to 4 pax. How about families like us?
Anyway, am glad the kids enjoyed themselves. We even got to visit the community library in the mall & borrowed books while waiting for the tea party.
Watching the show

Tea party - they were treated to KFC egg tart & Marigold milk. My kids priority was food instead of PRJF!!! The power rangers went around hi-5 to all the kids. They had individual photo shoot each.

Garfield @ AMK Hub

Brought the kids for their swim on Saturday morning as usual. Caden said he din want to swim, so Mummy din bring his swimming costume. When he saw jie-jie & gor-gor having fun with Daddy in the mushroom pool, he insisted on going in. Hence, he went in with his pants only... Luckily, Mummy brought a set of clothings for him.

Headed for AMK Hub for brunch cos Daddy remembered that there's Garfield Meet & Greet. Who knows... the earliest session was at 3pm. Too bad... the kids couldn't wait that long cos they were all so tired after the swim.

B is for Bumble Bee

Finally, found time to do the B craft. This time round, Caden din join in cos he jus wanted to do coloring.

Fire Engines

The kids tried to do the craft which were given to them when we went fore the fire station visit. Aiyo... it was tedious to fold n glue. Hence, most of the time, it was Mummy me helping them out.

Music In Me

Brandon has thus far attended 3 lessons of Music In Me. He's very shy and soft when answering the teacher's questions and in his singing. However, when it comes to following instructions and answering teacher's questions, he could do them well. I can totally understand what his school teacher told me during the Parent-Teacher session. That's how he behaves in school too!

Royal Family

As promised, we brought Brandon for his make-over at Parkway Parade last evening. As the receipts were more than enuf, Alicia & Caden also joined in the fun.
The before & after...
Putting on their hand tattoo
Putting on make-up & having their hair done

Caden was last to go in, but 1st to be ready cos he din want any make-up on.

He was so stiff when the guy wanted to take photo for him.

Mummy was torn into making a decision - 3 shots in total could be taken. But, I wanted a shot where 3 of them are together, so how?? I sacrificed Alicia's single shot cos she already had 1 taken the other day. When she saw the printed photos, she was very disappointed. I had to coax her saying that we'll do it again on another day that she gave me a smile again. O... kids! Check out their photos taken by the professional.
